With the microphone volumes maxed out in Windows 10 Pro and on the sound card on the cord, the bar on the Settings -> Sound options never peaks above about 25% even when yelling into the microphone. But there is a fix: 1. Download EqualizerAPO64-1.2.1.exe (reboot after this step) 2. Download PeaceSetup.exe (this is a skin that gives Equalizer APO a more friendly GUI). 3. On YouTube search for “How to fix HyperX Cloud, Alpha, Revolver & Stinger microphone recording level (ANY headset)” video. Follow the instructions provided in the video and you are off to the races. And just like that, the microphone is no longer on the “Con” list. Hope this helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.People always have heard me just fine. Either a defective pair or defective usb connection on your pc? Or using it with a controller? Any breaks in the cord? Try a different USB port or a different controller. Did you realize the mic is detachable? Mine came out when I first used it, but once I pushed it fully in, it hasn't come out since then.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a firmware update on the HyperX website. The version number looks lower, but it fixes this. No idea why it doesn't ship with it. But, I have two of these (one for work and one for gaming) and *with* the firmware update, the mic is awesome, even in the datacenter with a bunch of screaming fans. Probably what CTBlankenship was alluding to, but in case you can't find the video, go to their website and get the firmware update even though the version looks lower.
