• No, not on LG tv’s. Lg does not have a setting for usb out.

• Unfortunately no, the DAC requires you to plug into a PC to update is firmware (DAC is the remote looking thing on the cable that allows the 3.5mm to be plugged in and controls the surround sound.

• No, smart TV's aren't equipped with the drivers for these to work - if the TV allows driver downloads to work then yes, if not, you can get an auxiliary cord extender and plug it in the headphone jack.
