Unfortunately it does not have separate jacks for that, you either use the 3.5mm jack or the usb sound card adapter. Not both, one or the other

I would only recommend doing so if you rig has a very high end sound card that attaches to your PC's front panel (in other words your front panel mic and headphones jacks go directly to a header on your soundcard - not your motherboard). Reason I say this is because when you use the HyperX Cloud II Pro Wired gaming headset with the supplied USB cord it has a built-in sound card right on the cord with a 7.1 surround button (need to press the 7.1 button every time you plug the USB cord in - but well worth it). Whether playing a game; watching a movie, or listening to music - you will be blown away by the sound quality with no background noise whatsoever during the quiet parts.
