The plastic is pretty thin so I’m sure it’s better than having nothing covering your laptop but I doubt it’ll protect it from a serious or hard fall. The case is mostly to prevent scratches and small knicks like that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn’t have any type of fall protection. It will only protect from surface scratches. It fits perfectly though. I love the case. It has a nice matte finish that keeps it from sliding off a smooth surface.
