• You don't need a CD to set it up. Setup prompts come up on the screen to walk you through it. It's basically plug & play type setup. You can buy an external CD/DVD player for it also.

• Mine came with Windows preinstalled. When I had to re-install it at one point, I did so via a USB stick.

• This computer comes pre-installed with the Windows 10 operating system.

• Hi Elmer, for the function of setting up your pc would be SSD or HD, it has not relation to your DVD, thank you !
