You probably shouldn't, but if you really want to, check both the SSD [240GB] and the HDD [1TB] to see where Windows is located. If it's on the HDD, you should move it to the SSD if possible. Also, your computer will have a much lower storage capacity if you remove the HDD. But to answer your question, yes you could still download games and other media if you removed the HDD, since you have an SSD.
