• No. There is no slot for a CD drive. External drives only. If you need to reinstall Windows, your beat without an external drive

• Unfortunately not, to keep the sleek look they have all glass on the front, you can get an external DVDR drive that connects through USB. If you need to reinstall windows you can go to settings and choose reset this pc or you can use a USB flash drive.
