• You have to use dvi. If use HDMI splitter you will get same output twice. You will not extend display with splitter.

• Hello, The graphics card should have several different display ports, in order to use multiple monitors you may have to purchase as adapter such as a DVI-D or a display port converter to HDMI since it seems like that is what you need. Thank you.
