All you would need to do is remove the bubble wrap inside the pc, which is pretty easy and shouldn’t take longer than a minute or two. After that just connect to the cables to your monitor and pc and it’s ready to play. It does not come with a HDMI cable or monitor. It does however come with a mouse and gaming keyboard.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure what you mean by "patchboard" but if you mean your internet router, then yes. this system is great out of the box. You WILL need a tv or monitor you can plug it into, but the free mouse and keyboard is included. Everything in the PC description should be in there, BUT they advise looking in it to make sure nothing gets unplugged in transit. So if it does NOT start up or behave correctly, shut it off and check inside to make sure no connections are loose. It is a great system in my opinion. I am loving mine.
