Yes. I bought the following hard drive from Best Buy and installed it into this model: Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 1TB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology The M2 slot is in between the CPU and the graphics card (CPU above, graphics card below).
