“I know this is probably a stupid question, but I haven't bought a desktop in about 10 years, both of my monitors have the old school connections to the tower with the screws that you screw in. SO my question is can I even connect my monitors?”

Hello, This system has HDMI and DisplayPort connections for monitors. If you are using old monitors they may not have these cables, but you can buy adapters for them.
