“After cloning 1TB WD Green SSD SATA to identical size SanDisk M.2 NVMe, I am unable to boot Windows from the M.2 NVMe drive. I did have to resolve the drive signature collision. While leaving the WD SATA, the Windows boots but from WD! Any suggestions?”

format the wd. if that doesnt help remove and boot using nvme then reinstall fresh formatted wd. Check bios also.
