“Since you’re able to change out the SSD, what SSD (brands) will be compatible with this pc? I wasn’t able to find anything about the motherboard in the specs.”

The motherboard varies based on their inventory. I have an ASUS board, others got MSI boards. You'd have to purchase the computer and see what you end up with.
