- Answer yes you can just make sure its compatible , https://www.crucial.com/store/systemscanner if you need help to find the ram specs for a upgrade but personally i like Gskills price to performance you buy any brand just buy some thing reputable

- Answer The only thing you will have to upgrade is changing from the single stick 8GB of RAM to Dual Stick 8GB of RAM for the 16GB you will need or you can do dual stick 16GB for 32GB which is really in all honesty overkill
