The FPS you will get is highly dependent on what game your son is playing as well as the settings he is playing on. but there are tools online that allow you to search how many FPS you can expect to get with different graphics cards. If you search GTX 1660TI FPS you can then select the games your son plays and it will give you an estimate of how many FPS you can expect to get on specific games. Hope that helps
