• 8 cubes per cycle is the correct answer. Not 12.

• Hi Ricky. The LG Automatic Ice Maker Kit, Model # LK65C will produce 12 cubes per cycle, approximately 80 - 100 cubes in a 24 hour period, depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, how frequently refrigerator doors are opened, and other use conditions...^IFV
