• Anywhere on the actual case that is metal is fine. Do not clip to any electronic parts or anything inside the case to be safe

• You want to attach the alligator clip to a metal part of the pc case, ideally bare metal without any paint on it. Make sure it's secure so it doesn't get unclipped while you're moving around.

• I always attach it to the metal parts around the edge of the case. The further from the motherboard, the better
