Q: QuestionIf this is latest 2021 model then why does it come with Big Sur OS and not Ventura OS? I'm thinking about canceling my order and just buy this from Apple because at least it will Have Ventura OS which is the newest OS.

• A:Answer I did lots of research and browsing before I took the plunge.....I googled used 21.5 Imacs and came up with a Best Buy site that had at the time about six pages of various Apple computers from the central east coast area for sale.....Most were I think opened box items and MANY had just the display and no mouse or keyboard or both.....I do not think the savings were that great though.

• A:Answer It may come with big sur as it was released last year. All updates are free. Big Sur to Monterey has a lot of new features with it. Either OS is fine as they both work on ARM systems like the M1.
