Word is not included on the iMac. it can be purchased thru the App Store.  I bought a yearly subscription to Microsoft Office 365.  I do not know about other options to get Word

No it does not com with Microsoft Word or office at all you need to buy separately. I bought Microsoft office Home and Student 2021 it comes with Word/ Excel and PowerPoint for $99.00 dollars one time charge/buy. Make sure you if you decide to buy to pick Mac OS.

I don't think so. You have to use Pages and learn from the beginning.
