Will this fit the new M2 Air? null

Going to answer my own question: It technically fits, but it doesn't really fit well and does not close properly. Cannot recommend for the m2 air.

I have the same question. Part number on the Apple website (Mfr. Part Number: INMB100366-GFT) which states it fits the new M2 Air is identical. On clearance $15 cheaper at Best Buy. I'm going to go pick one up today. If it doesn't fit my new Air I will post back. If I don't post again, consider that it fit!
