• It can be wall mounted and needs a wall mount for a 50" tv.

• Yes you can mount it to a wall. Just purchase a universal mounting bracket. Tv is pretty light so no problem. Just make sure you have the right size mounting bolts and make sure they are not too long. My tv actually came with the bolts.
