• Some of the Roku TVs and roku set top boxes have a headphone jack in the remote. This might help your hearing impaired husband. Also, also, some of the Polkaudio soundbars have dialog enhancing features.

• If you are cutting cable this and your husband has hearing issues then do not but this TV. The amplifier and broadcast tuner are sub-par (cheap) and don't do well. I know I bought it and regret it.
