“Is it possible to get local television channels on this tv as is? Without having to purchase an outside antenna?”

• It depends if you are within 25-30 mi of your stations linear broadcast transmitters a Mohu leaf style flat wall antenna will work rabbit ears not as well . I got an inexpensive Mohu Leaf knock off at New-egg or maybe Amazon . I get 32 OTA locals on my 4K Sony XBR just fine with the towers being 25 mi away .
