• User Guide suggests not to mount under a cabinet or over a cooktop range.

• I would get a higher end microwave for use as a built in. We purchased for use as a quick standin while our kitchen is being remodeled. This is a countertop type unit, good for quick warmups. Has a loud hollow sound when you close the door. I would spend another $100 and get a slightly better unit.
