• Hello Mustang, I am sorry to hear about this, have you tried using another plug on your phone, or this same plug in another phone? If the issue is going on only with the Insignia adapter despite the phone used the better option for us would be to take advantage of the manufacturer's warranty. On the contrary if any adapter or plug does this only with your device I would suggest you to contact the phones manufacturer to have it checked. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
