The compact refrigerator that you are mentioning has to be placed in a well ventilated area to function how it is meant to, If the cabinet that you are speaking of is closed off, or does not somehow receive fresh air, then it would not be recommended that you put the compact refrigerator in that compartment. -Brian Insignia Support

• Cord 4-6ft. Don't know about cabinet needs air around it. Have mine on child's table

• It can't be in a cabinet it will heat up it needs about 12 to 14 into displace. heat
