• The manufacture only says it's not suitable to use in a garage or other outside installation & to avoid moist areas.

• I guess you can. I use mine @ work. The manufacture suggest you allow 5 inches of space between the back & sides & any surrounding walls, for proper ventilation. You also need to keep it Level. By the way it has adjustable leveling feet & reversible door.
