“I just bought the Insignia displayport to HDMI cable. I've just hooked the display port into the back of my monitor and the hdmi into my laptop but it's not detecting the monitor. Any reason why?”

• You would have to check if the hdmi port is installed correctly or you also have to make the laptop send the signal to the port many laptops have a screen symbol and to activate this function you have to use the "Fn" key and usually the "f6" key, I hope it helps you
