• I'm not sure but does cross grain cut into pieces that are confetti like (about 2 inches long)

• It has to be nearly a P-4 as it cut almost to the size of a micro cut then most crosscut shredders.

• I would say that this gives a very high level of security. I can't think of anyone with criminal intent who would go through the trouble to reassemble papers or even credit cards that have been so completely MANGLED as this machine makes them.
