• I've shredded cards but don't believe one with a chip. However, it seems to do fine with staples, so maybe it wouldn't be a problem. I would call the manufacturer and check with them.

• Yes!, it will chew through three credit cards at a time with chips without chips it doesn't matter it will chew through them all!! Great Shredder!! : )
