A:AnswerWe used to do it all the time (1980s and 1990s), with an identical cord, (they are universal) but I don't know if modems have changed. It there is an input for it, then why not just assume that it will work? It would not harm anything. I am willing to bet that it will work. This particular cord is of very high quality.
A:AnswerI purchased for the same purpose and this was not the correct cord for my router. I would suggest taking your cable to the store to ensure that you get the correct one which is what I wished that I had done. It is good for landline phones.
