“When a USB cable is already connected to the power bank, why do you need to press the power button to enable the power bank to start charging. I have owned several power banks and never had this issue before. This is most unsatisfactory.”

I am not sure why this happens but I think or guess it’s to prevent un planned discharge of the battery and conserve the life of it once charged ??
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had a few portable chargers from different brands, each one required you to push a button to start charging. Its a minor inconvenience in my opinion. The charger works well with our phones and tablets.
