• The model comes with a small container that holds an ice cube tray that you fill with water from the sink or a water pitcher and then place back on top of the container for the ice cubes to freeze. Once frozen you crack the ice cubes and place them in the bottom of the small container to hold for later use. Basically an old fashion ice cube tray within a larger container to prevent spills. It is a nice addition to the unit and you do not have to be concerned of having a water hook up.
