For the Insignia™ - 11.5 Cu. Ft. Bottom Mount Refrigerator with ENERGY STAR Certification, the recommended side clearance is 8 inches (20.3 cm) on both the left and right sides. Additionally, you should allow at least 2 inches (5.1 cm) between the back and top of the refrigerator and the surrounding wall and ceiling.
