“Bought this as a gift for my SO summer of 2021. We’ve increasingly noticed a pool of water collecting in the bottom. It’s not opened frequently and only briefly to grab something. No condensation - just water pooling. Help would be appreciated!”

I don't think it should be doing that. I have the 48-can model and yes, I DO get some water (the frost melting, I guess it's defrosting itself) on that "cooling plate" at the back on top, but no water has leaked-out anywhere. SO FAR, that is (have only had mine for a week or so though). You might want to take it back to get checked out before the warranty expires.
