• They recommend that if you do lay it on it’s side to wait at least a few hours before turning on on. I waited overnight and it is working just fine.

• It is best to transfer standing and let stay standing a full 24 after you get it in place. I have always been told that with any fridge freezer or dehumidifier I purchased and had good luck with all of them.
