This fan is cheap and does not cool well. I ended up buying 1 120mm Antec fan from Wal-Mart for $7.99. It cooled better than two of the Insignia fans.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use a 120mm computer fan and it does a pretty good job drawing air through the cabinet. Choose the highest capacity with the lowest noise level. I use a rubber grommet to isolate the fan from the cabinet to keep it quieter. A USB charger provides plug-in and it's a simple matter to find the correct wiring
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Won't work for you unless you use a power supply to provide the correct voltage. (12vdc) Better to use a fan assembly designed for 120 vac operation and sized to provide adequate ventilation for your anticipated heat load. How much equipment do you have installed and what are the nameplate ratings on the devices? You can probably buy what you need on line for less than $30.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This fan will meet/exceed all your requirements, but you may need a few for the volume of your media cabinet, absolutely silent even at full speed. Also I simply went to a thrift store and picked up an old cell phone charger for $1 (12VDC 0.9A) and wired the fan up so it runs on full speed at all times, which is ideal considering its silent, but doesn't have an extremely high rate of air flow. I'd say 3 placed to maximize air flow (possibly one more for air intake) would be ideal for your particular application. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you may consider an ACTUAL fan -- these are small computer cabinet fans and MAY not produce the airflow you need
