• Have the unit stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging the unit to power, clean the interior and wait for at least 24 hours before placing food inside the unit.

• Have a path cleared so installers can get to the location you want the freezer placed. Clean out any food or others items (ice, etc.) from the old freezer. The old freezer should be plugged in and operational. The old freezer was in our garage. I moved it to just inside the overhead door to make it easy for the crew to remove it.
