I have the exact same issue. The freezer is set to 0F but once every 24 hours it goes up to 25F and then back down to 0F. I have a temperature alarm in it and it beeps every day at least once. I don't have any door leaks or power issues. The unit is brand new and leveled. Not sure what to do. I will call customer support and try to exchange it for a new one but I'm afraid it may come with the same issue. (most people that don't have a temperature alarm could be having the issue and just don't know about it)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello BSVr, I also have received the same unit recently. I would keep it at 0 degrees for the freezer. -8 is harder for the unit to keep up with. So with the freezer set at 0 F, next we need to address the door seal. If it is not sealing you are loosing temperature and the unit is working too hard. Is there a dent causing it not to seal? Try using weather stripping or thin foam with a sticky side you can attach it that area to create a good seal. That’s where I would start, I’f that does not work there may be an issue with the unit, check to see if it’s under warranty.
