The temperature only displays when you open and close the door.

Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer to turn off periodically. This feature is designed to save energy and extend the lifespan of the display. The blue light indicating "freezer" mode will remain on to show that the freezer is functioning correctly. If the display turns off but the freezer continues to operate normally, there's no need to worry.
