“I bought this as open box 3 days ago. Plugged in. Left side felt hot- took temperature inside. The top and all down to bottom reads 41 and the lowest floor area is 36 even though the fridge is set at 34. Do you think it's defective? Its no longer hot”

The unit is free standing in the basement. There’s nothing obstructing air flow. I did notice last night that the left side felt warm again. It must happen when unit is running. What temperature is this unit supposed yo read inside? It never goes to 34 even on bottom of unit
