I bought this Insignia 130-can beverage cooler last year, and I waited a few months before writing this review because I wanted to see how well it would hold up over time. I’m happy to say the results have been amazing! It’s worked perfectly since day one, and I’ve been very impressed with how reliable and useful it is. I mainly got it to free up space in my main fridge, and it’s done a great job. It fits a lot of cans, just like advertised, and I like that I can adjust the shelves if I need to fit taller bottles or other drinks. The silver finish looks clean and modern, and the glass door is a nice touch — I can easily check what’s inside without opening the door. The cooler runs very quietly, which was important to me because I have it near the living room. I barely notice it’s on, even at night. It cools drinks quickly and keeps them consistently cold. If you set it to the lowest temperature, it actually gets so cold that some drinks near the back can start to freeze — I was surprised by how powerful it is! I just adjusted the temp slightly, and now it’s perfect. One thing I’ll mention is that the shelves are a bit lightweight, so I try not to overload them with heavy bottles. But for cans and light drinks, they work just fine. Setting the right temperature took a little experimenting at first, but once I found the right setting, I haven’t needed to touch it again. What surprised me the most is how much I use this cooler every day, not just for parties. It’s so convenient to always have cold drinks ready, and guests often comment on how handy it is. Honestly, I love it so much that if I move to a bigger house, I’m planning to buy a second one — one upstairs and one downstairs! Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s been a great addition to my home, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, reliable beverage fridge at a good price.

so I have been wanting a fridge to keep my beer separated from the main kitchen fridge because my wife was losing valuable space and I couldn't find my drinks buried behind food and other stuff. This insignia solves all my problems as now I can keep a good selection on hand and just peek through the glass so I don't have to waste time rummaging letting all the cold air out and warm air in. the 130 can rating is a bit confusing because I haven't attempted to completely fill mine but the shelves do hold 6 rows of 6 cans for 36. the limitation I believe comes from the upper deck where your shelf height interferes with the control panel limiting some potential space. and if you have bottles that you want to store straight up then you automatically lose capacity because it forces you to remove a shelf. I solve this problem by purchasing mainly cans but what bottles I do get I just slide them on the upper rack sideways and I feel doing this allows the cooling fan to circulate the air inside a little better. I keep the temp set at its lowest setting which is 34 degrees. I have not inserted a probe to see how cold its actually getting inside but my drinks are pretty cold to the touch and when they hit my mouth they are definitely more than cold enough, maybe not as cold as my main fridge upstairs but that is a different beast altogether. the only real con I can think is that since the lowest level isn't a shelf but rather the "floor" inside, it isn't a perfectly flat surface so some cans will sit flat and others might sit crooked depending on how they're lined up and arranged. I have no idea about the alleged energy efficiency of this unit however it does run pretty quiet not that it matters because it is kept in the basement laundry room office away from the main living area so I only hear it running after I open the door to grab a quick cold one. time will tell how long this thing lasts but if I get it to last until I move out of the house I'll be happy and probably just leave it in the basement for the next owner! the unit is pretty big so be prepared to bring your truck or suv to haul this away. the packaging was quite thin so be careful while moving and transporting. I would not trust any shipping company to transport this as I feel there isn't adequate protection inside the box. as always, read the instructions and be sure to let it sit in place for 30 to 60 minutes prior to plugging in or you could risk damaging the compressor.

Arrived ahead of schedule and curbside pickup took about 7 minutes. Beautiful design and great adjustable shelves. Holds temperature well and I have had no problems. It has freed up a lot of space in my refrigerator while allowing me to keep more beverages cold.

The fridge is very useful. The size is just perfect. It fits a variety of different drinks. It was easy to set up and started cooling right away. I would definitely recommend it. There were a few glass scratches but didn’t bother at all. It is very industrial looking overall. I like it.

Looks great in the man cave. Perfect size for the spot. quiet operation. Would have been 5 star if light turns on automatically.

I am very happy with this purchase! It runs very quietly, has a very large capacity and keeps drinks cold. I would 10/10 recommend buying this cooler.

If you are about drinks you need to get this. This model has the wood trim finish that makes it look fancier than it’s brother and sister models. Pros: holds a lot of beverages allows for u customize shelves . + keeps hood temperature +quiet when running Cons: the top of the cooler doesn’t cool as well as the middle and bottom but it’s still good if u set at 38 degrees - the back of the cooler develops some condensation stains but I think that’s normal and u can wipe it clean with a dry cloth. My only hope is that can last 10+ years because I bought wine coolers and they always break after the 4 year mark.

I love this bevarage fridge. It looks nice and works well. It took some shelf-adjusting to fit taller bottles, but it was no big deal. We also had to reverse the door to open the other direction, but that was super easy too. I wish the light turned on automatically when opened, but that's my only complaint and it's not a huge deal. It is also super quiet.

I bought this mini fridge for my kitchen and it fit perfectly. It is beautiful. Exactly what i imagined. It holds plenty of drinks. The light is a nice touch and keeps beverages cold. Woukd absolutely recommend it.

Picked up this cooler yesterday. I learned a long time ago to always have them open the box. Sure enough the unit had a big dent on the back corner. With no more in stock the manager was nice enough to offer a good discount which I accepted. Once home, set up was quick and it started cooling quickly. It is quiet and the door has a great quality feel. I’m very happy with the purchase other than the dent.

Nice beverage cooler for our wet bar. We had bad luck with getting the similar Frigidaire beverage cooler - they were delivered to our home and to store and both were badly damaged/dented. The customer service sales associate recommended this one. It looks nice, is quiet, and provides ample space. Only drawback is that we spaced out our cabinets for the Frigidaire which has a front pull handle. The handle on this one is sunken in on the side so we have to pull it open on top which sometimes pulls the fridge forward.

Unit construction and appearance are high-end with amply opportunity for various configurations. Unit is quiet and it is nice to be able to flip the door, depending upon the location.

We love this mini fridge so much we purchase a second for another area of our home!

So far so good, plenty of room for cans, bottles and even larger juice containers down low. Quiet operation and looks good.

Looks great in my bar. Bottom drinks are a little colder than the drinks on top but that's OK with me. Bottom gets to desired temp, top is a few degrees warmer. Runs quiet and doesn't seem to get too warm even though it's mostly enclosed (does have 1-2" of space all the way around). I picked it up from the store after reading about some of the shipping issues in reviews and box was a bit damaged and not much protection but my fridge had no dents.

A great beverage cooler. We purchased this for our custom built side bar in the kitchen. We wanted a sleek yet with large enough capacity to hold various types of drinks. The fridge glass door opens left to right by default but can be switched as needed. We really liked the height of the fridge as it fit perfectly under our standard height bar counter. Additionally, the fridge is very quiet and also has a courtesy led light that can be turned on manually. It does not light up automatically when door opens. And its merely disperse light mostly toward too rack but enough ambient lighting to see the fridge contents. One thing to keep in mind, although the digital temp setting shows a specific temp, this is more true toward the bottom rack of the fridge. Drinks are extra cold as lower the rack. The top rack merely keeps drinks chilled.. while bottom racks actually makes the drinks cold. So we mainly use top rack for wine and water bottles. The rack is nice quality with wooden caps and can be adjusted at multiple heights using the slots or even removing them altogether. So far… happy with the fridgez Great value and looks great.

I have had this cooler about a week now. Had one tiny ding in the back near the compressor. Not visible in installed location. Placed it on a slightly oversize piece of plywood since the floor is carpet. This made leveling easier and made space from the walls. Cools to expected temperature in a just a couple of hours. At 34 degree setting bottom (floor) shelf is 33-34 degrees degrees measured with an appliance thermometer. Tops shelf is 39-40 degrees. The compressor is VERY quiet compared o my kitchen fridge and outside freezer which are only a few years old. I put an upright layer of canned sodas on the bottom. Then a later of Bottle drinks and taller cans The next layer sodas on their side and the top layer upright sodas and some snacks, Tips. 1) Fuller is better. it reduces the temp drop when you open the door. 2) Minimize opening the door. 3) when loading up pre-chill drinks in a larger fridge especially plastic and glass containers.

Very quiet, keeps everything at a constant chilled temp. Drinks up against the back may freeze, so you have to find the tender balance I don't like that you’re stuck with the height of the shelves. It really is made just for cans and nothing taller. It’s okay,
