• We have placed our cooler in the space under a desk because we don't ever sit at this desk. The unit is only 19 inches high, so it should fit under a standard height counter very easily.

• Hello, Yes It is basically a "mini fridge" with wine racks. You need to have open space behind, top and sides for air flow as it uses a conventional refrigerator components. Enjoy.
