Yes, it charges while playing but it depends on your PC. It might keep it charged or it might slowly discharge

It charges and holds a good % for a while, I believe I saw like low-80s% remaining after using the Quest 2 for about 2 hours plugged in. However, if the headset is turned off, it will not charge up at all I noticed.
