Can the lights be installed outside and left there? null

The connectors state they are waterproof and the lights are low voltage. The manual does not state that they are for indoors use only, so I suppose you could but them outside. They are mounted with adhesive tape that is probably good for one mounting. Removing them later may damage the light strip. Sunlight may discolor the clear cover.

No, why would you want to do that?
