• i'm not sure they are tape mounted so you would need a smooth clean finish to stick them to i have not installed mine as of yet they are going on a loft bed for my son

• yes....It can be. The strip has an adhesive backup. The strip can be adapted to be used on a 12V power source and not use the brick which provides 120VAC->12VDC
