We bought ours as an emergency replacement while waiting on warranty repairs on our fancy Four Door Fridge/Freezer and this little guy has been working well so far. I wish, however we has purchased the larger model, but we just needed to get what was immediately available. We love that it can be changed from a Refrigerator to a Freezer and back at will.
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerAllow 7.9 inches (20 cm) of space between the sides of the freezer and the
walls, 3.9 inches (10 cm) between the back of the freezer and the wall, and 11.8
inches (30 cm) between the top of the freezer and the ceiling. This allows for
proper air ventilation. The depth is 60.1 inches with the door open 90 degrees.
A:Answer7.9" air gap to either side? Are you sure? It's usually either 3" for units with coils in the sides or 1" for bottom mounted coils.
3 inches is pretty close to 7.9cm (7.6). Could the spec be 7.9 cm on each side?
A:AnswerNo it doesn't, it would probably burn it out sooner. Warranty does not cover burned out display from static images.
From owners manual:
Display panel damaged by static (non-moving) images applied for lengthy periods (burn-in)
