“On page 7 of the User Manual (pdf) it states that this refrigerator must be placed AT LEAST FIVE INCHES FROM THE WALL to ensure proper airflow? Is that accurate? Most units require 1/2 to 2 inches. I don't have this much space.”

• Our delivery man set it up; it appears to be 5 inches from the wall. I don’t know how critical the five niches is.
