“What is the correct settings to connect this HDTV ( Insignia™ - 19" Class - LED - 720p - HDTV) to a laptop? I have connected the two but this monitor (HDTV) says “no signal”.”

I too had this connected to a laptop and had no issues. I used the HDMI port to connect it. Check your display settings on the laptop to see if the monitor is even visible and go from there.
