• We bought ours about two months ago. I have not noticed a red light on the bottom left, only on the bottom right. There is a delay for the screen to turn on, as with all other flat screens, but the red light on the bottom right will turn completely off - that's how I know it's about to go on - I've never seen it flash. Have you tried unplugging and resetting it?
